In the India's recent history, the caste system has been a constant subject of controversy. India is a country where religious minorities are more privileged than religious majorities. Indians often feel uneasy and insecure when they face people of different religions and castes. However, the most important thing in life is not to be with someone for their religion or caste but with them because they are your friend.
It's so hard to choose someone who we like and we don't know which religion he/she belongs to. We can't base our decision on their religion or caste. Even though we want to find good friends for ourselves, we don't find them at all! What I am trying to say is that we should move beyond our past and look forward to create history with them by creating a friendship with people from different religion and castes in the future.
